Despite its power, language is overrated. “A picture is worth a thousand words.” It is true that a single image is capable of quickly and powerfully communicating an entire story. Then there is the music. Imagine watching a film without the score (the music). It is the score that evokes our feelings. The dialogue alone would seem flat, one dimensional without a symphonic stream to carry the drama into our hearts and minds. The next time you watch a movie, notice the role of the music and you will be amazed. When we speak of visuals (the picture) and the score (the music), we move into the realm of emotions. Indeed even in the spoken word, it is the tone and delivery which are most evocative. The same words spoken in different ways can relate completely different messages. In our modern world of e-mail communication, expressive icons or use of underscore and bold or various scripts are used to communicate beyond the words. Why is it so important to see or hear beyond the words? Because our feelings are our Guidance System to creating our lives as we wish them to be. If we experience positive feelings and thoughts, we are in alignment with our Highest Self and creating outcomes we desire. If we experience negative feelings and thoughts we are not in alignment with our Highest Self and creating outcomes we do not desire. Our emotions are clearly guiding us constantly and offering choices for creating desired and undesired manifestations in our lives. Decide what you wish to Be, Do, and Have in your life, and choose the best feeling thoughts you can at each point along the way. This is the formula that will get you there. It is the Law of Creation and the Law of Attraction. This is simply how life works. No mystery. No victims. No exceptions. And it need not take that long. You decide by what choices you make about how you choose to feel. You are not a prisoner of your feelings. You choose your feelings and you can choose to change them. So, as you are living your life, be aware that at every moment you are actually creating it. An artist and a work of art. Ask yourself often— What’s the score?” Notice the music, the feelings. Insist on those that feel good!
