This article will explore the nature of illness and the means by which healing occurs. Much of the focus in modern medicine is in finding “cures.” This approach is misguided. Better to understand and address the causes of illness and disease. Everything that is physical emerges from a state of less dense energy, the non-physical. Medical interventions can address symptoms, but only the patient can cure themselves. And this is done by a change in attitude and in consciousness. All stories of miraculous healing have this in common --- there is the assumption of already being well and healed. This powerful belief is either embraced by the person with the malady, or by someone they truly believe has the power to heal them (an energetic conduit). “It’s our ability to feel as if our dreams have already come to life, our wishes are fulfilled, and our prayers already answered.” (Gregg Braden, The Divine Matrix, p. 65). So how do we transmute our beliefs into new physical realities? Like healings and abundance of all sorts? In 1998, Gregg Braden learned the answers directly from the abbots he met on a research trip and pilgrimage to Tibet. He asked them what happens during praying rituals. They replied, What you see is what we do to create the feeling in our bodies. The feeling is the prayer.” Gregg Braden concludes that “It is human feeling and emotion that … changes the atoms, electrons, and photons of the outer world. (Prayers) put us in touch with the pure space where the miracles of our minds become the reality of our world.” (The Divine Matrix, p. 84-85) So we see that to heal, we must come from the belief place where it is already so. And this dream, wish, prayer must be truly and fully felt as human emotion. We are now at the cusp of fourth dimensional consciousness, a vibration beyond that ever lived in the history of our human existence. What will healing look like in the Age of Aquarius? How will healers be trained? How long will it take modern science to incorporate the teachings of ancient healing wisdom? All this remains to be seen. Will modern medicine begin to embrace the power of the 96% (non-physical energetic reality) in addressing the symptoms present in the 4% (physical reality)? I hope so. And I hope soon. Victoria A.
